Synopsis

Astérix & Obélix: God Save Britannia: The year is 50 B.C. At the head of his glorious legions, Caesar decides to invade the island that lies at the very edge of the known world, that mysterious land known as Britannia. Victory is swift and complete. Well... almost. One single tiny village manages to resist, but its forces are growing weaker. Cordelia, Queen of the Britons, decides to send her most faithful officer, Anticlimax, to seek aid in Gaul, in another little village famed for its dogged resistance to the Romans. Astérix and Obélix agree to help them out but nothing ever goes quite to plan... Astérix at the Olympic Games: In their latest adventure, Astérix and Obélix must win the Olympic Games to help a young Gaul, Alafolix, marry the Greek Princess Irina and beat the fearsome Brutus, who will stoop to anything in order to win the Olympics and eliminate his father, Julius Caesar. Astérix, The Secret of the Magic Potion: Following a fall during mistletoe picking, Druid Getafix decides that it is time to secure the future of thevillage. Accompanied by Astérix and Obélix,he travels the Gallic world in search of a worthy young druid to whom he can pass on the secret of his magic potion. |
