Eddie Murphy gives more tour-de-force performances than any screen can contain in the uproarious adventures of Dr. Sherman Klump in The Nutty Professor Collection. In The Nutty Professor, kindhearted and brilliant Dr. Klump falls for the beautiful Carla Purty (Jada Pinkett) — but lacks the confidence in himself to win her heart. Desperate to whittle his 400-pound frame down to size, he resorts to an experimental serum, which unleashes his obnoxious alter ego, Buddy Love. The uncontrollable Buddy soon makes life miserable for Sherman, who must fight for control over the monster he's created. |
